4ArXS - For Architainment, eXtreme Seal - is a special family of lamps to be used in the field of architecural effects lighting, so-called Architainment. It includes performance from 35 to 1200W. 4ArXS includes HSD lamps in known quartz implementation as well as HCD lamps in the newest ceramic technology. All 4ArXS lamps are robust and durable, to reduce the number of maintenance intervals. The XS technology gives additional security through higher temperature stability in pinching.

Features and Benefits
 
All 4ArXS lamps have an outer bulb, which makes them less sensitive to environmental influences. 4ArXS lamps are designed only for cold ignition. The XS technology allows all 4ArXS lamps to withstand a pinch seal temperature of up to 450°C.
 
4ArXS HSD are metal halide lamps with quartz discharge tube. They provide a high luminance and, depending on type, a long life of between 2000 and 6000 hours. Depending on type and version of the lamp, they do have a color temperature between 6000K and 8000K.
 
4ArXS HCD are metal halide lamps with ceramic discharge tube. The rounded shape of the discharge tube provides a higher luminous flux than a comparable cylindrical one. The excellent color stability deserves special mention, as well as the color rendering in the red area of the spectrum. The HCD lamps do have in addition an UV filter outer bulb, which reduces the strain on optical components and illuminated objects. HCD lamps currently coming in color temperatures of 3000K or 4200K.
