Low-pressure technology
In the bulb of a conventional halogen lamp the operating pressure may be as high as 25 bar. The operating pressure of a low-pressure halogen lamp on the other hand is no more than 2.5 bar.

Cool-Beam technology
Dichroic reflector lamps are ideal if heat-sensitive objects have to be well lit. Most of the heat produced by the lamp is emitted through the rear of the reflector.
